Carrying Courage Forward: How R. Riveter Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Every October, R. Riveter joins a global community in recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For us, this month is about more than pink ribbons; it’s about action, storytelling, and support. That’s why, each year, we partner with a different organization that is making a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer.
These collaborations allow us to raise awareness, give back, and design intentional pieces that carry hope, strength, and courage. As a female-founded business, our goal is to stand alongside women and families affected by breast cancer, offering both solidarity and tangible support.

This Year’s Partnership: The Nightbirde Foundation
For 2025, we are honored to partner with the Nightbirde Foundation created in memory of Jane Marczewski — better known as Nightbirde. Jane’s story touched millions after her unforgettable performance on America’s Got Talent, where she reminded the world:
“You don’t have to wait for everything to be okay to be happy.”
The Nightbirde Foundation continues her legacy by supporting artists battling breast cancer, many of whom face financial and emotional hurdles in addition to their diagnosis. With this partnership, R. Riveter is proud to give back 5% of net proceeds from our Nightbirde Collection directly to the foundation.
Why It Matters
Each October partnership is more than a campaign — it’s a continuation of our mission to uplift women, share stories of resilience, and make a difference where it’s needed most. Breast cancer impacts so many within our own military spouse and extended communities, and these collaborations allow us to channel our brand’s platform toward hope and change.
How You Can Join Us
By shopping the Nightbirde Collection, you’re not only carrying a bag or wearing a hoodie — you’re carrying a message of courage. You’re helping support artists in their fight against breast cancer. And you’re keeping Jane’s voice, spirit, and joy alive in the most powerful way: through community action.
Together, we can honor the fighters, remember the loved ones we’ve lost, and create brighter paths forward.
