Corbin | JEEP® Collaboration Khaki Nylon + Black Leather
We’re joining forces with Jeep once again.
As Rosie the Riveter rose to prominence as a symbol of female empowerment during the 1940s, the original Jeep stepped into the spotlight as an example of American ingenuity and ruggedness. Now, 80 years and two previous collaborations later, R.Riveter is teaming up with Jeep once more for a new line of limited-edition bags and accessories.
Each of our collaborations with the iconic Jeep brand has been designed especially for women who know they must experience adventures to find out where they truly belong. And our new collection includes a stamped reminder of that sentiment. Each bag, tote, or pouch includes this iconic quote by author Sue Fitzmaurice:
“You must go on adventures to find out where you truly belong.”
The Corbin is your hands-free on-a-mission backpack, and now available in our high performance Nylon fabrication. The sleek and timeless design will keep you on trend and ready for action wherever life takes you.
Each R.Riveter handbag takes a journey across the country before arriving at your doorstep. Components are crafted by independent military spouses in their homes around the nation, and shipped to R.Riveter's FabShop to be assembled into a one-of-a-kind product.

Inspiration Behind the Name
The Corbin Handbag was inspired by Margaret Corbin, an incredibly strong woman who fought in the American Revolutionary War despite the status of women during her time. A nurse by trade, Corbin decided to join her husband during a battle, where they both fought alongside the hundreds of men battling the British troops. Though John was enlisted and Margaret was not. she had observed her husband shooting cannons. During battle, her husband fell in action, and Margaret bravely took his place at the cannon, and continued to fire until she was too seriously injured to continue. Corbin was hit in her jaw, chest and arm, and eventually had to surrender due to her injuries. She became the first woman to ever receive a military pension, and is buried at West Point Cemetery. The legacy Margaret Corbin left behind inspires bravery, confidence and adventure in each and every person who carries the Corbin backpack.
Nylon Care Instructions:
Spot clean with warm water, gentle soap and a soft, damp cloth. Allow to air dry.
Maintenance of R. Riveter Leather:
We love using real veg tanned leather in our handbags because they just better with age. If you happen to get scratches or water marks, you can usually get the bag looking new again with just a little maintenance.
