Meet the Maker | Sailor's Sister

Hi, I’m Laura Kate! I am a wife, mom of four, and a sailor’s sister. I’m also a former RN and worked in the hospital setting for ten years. After the chaos of the pandemic, I decided to take a step back from the healthcare world. Around the same time, my brother shared he was enlisting in the United States Navy. As I’ve grown in my craft and design, I decided to take a small leap of faith and open an Etsy shop. Over time my pieces were naturally inspired by my brother’s military path. He was a successful finance guy who decided he had a greater purpose in life and wanted to serve his country… how could I not be inspired by that?! So in this journey of life and by my brother’s example, I’m learning to embrace the nudges, take risks, and never quit.

Order Processing Time

Shipping Method

  • Flat Rate will ship via USPS or UPS based on your selection. For APO/FPO/DPO addresses, choose Standard Flat Rate for USPS shipping.

Returns and Exchanges

  • If your bag isn’t the right fit, return it within 30 days for a full refund (shipping fee excluded).
  • Items must be in like-new condition with tags attached.
  • Submit return requests through our Return Portal.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs; shipping fees are non-refundable.
