Harriet Tote Bag | Horizon Canvas + Brown Leather
Where the Sky Meets the Sea
Every bag in our Nautical Collection is designed to echo the calm, strength, and movement of the sea. The deep navy. The golden yellow of sunlit sails. The rich textures of timeless craftsmanship.
But this one? This one tells a story of motion.
Of a sky streaked with light just before a storm.
Of waves catching the last burst of sun before they break.
Of sea spray, canvas sails, and golden hour light shifting with the tide.
A moment of art in motion—captured in fabric and leather.
Crafted by R. Riveter with the same precision and heart, this piece carries the unexpected beauty that only the sea—and real life—can offer.

Behind the Name:
Harriet Chalmers Adams (1875 –1937) was a renowned American Adventurer. She traveled over a hundred thousand miles, wrote and photographed her adventures and captivated audiences all over the world for publications like the National Geographic, the NY Times and Harpers.
Harriet also worked as a war correspondent during WWI – and was the only female journalist permitted to visit the trenches. She traveled as a fearless trailblazer – but she also helped launch the Society of Woman Geographers in 1925 to help pave the way for other females in the industry.
How to Clean a Canvas Bag:
When spot cleaning the canvas, we suggest using a brush or sponge with water only to wipe it off soiled area. We do not recommend using anything other than water as it could discolor canvas material.
How to Care for Leather Handbags:
We love using real genuine leather in our handbags because they just get better with age. If you happen to get scratches or water marks, you can usually get the bag looking new again with just a little maintenance. Please click here to read about how to care for your genuine leather.
