1. Dahlonega, GA
As many people know, R.Riveter began in Dahlonega, GA - a tiny mountain town, home to the 5th Ranger Training Battalion. As new military spouses, Lisa and I bonded in the very beginning over shared frustration of setbacks from employment struggles in the remote military base. The rest, they say, is history.
For me, Dahlonega brings back so many memories - but my favorite by far are those in the fall. The North Georgia mountains in autumn are a sight to behold. The rich colors of leaves changing that stretches for miles, the still reflections of mountain lakes, and the crisp coolness in the air is something that will stay with me forever. With the Fall 2017 Collection, I wanted to reflect this magical autumn season in the place where R.Riveter began.
2. Adventure
You’ll see that our Fall collection only consists of small-to-medium sized handbags and travel accessories. Why is that?
Well, every Fall, my family makes a bucket list. Whether we want to go on a hayride, bake with as many apples as we can pick from an orchard, or take a road trip to see the leaves change in the mountains - one thing is necessary- a hands-free bag that’s perfect for whatever adventure the day holds.
The Patton is a classic cross body bag to toss your essentials into - wallet, keys, cell phone, and any other small treasures you may need.
The Otto is our most popular handbag, and a larger cross body bag for those who need to bring a few more things along on their adventure.

The R.Riveter community serves as a constant inspiration to me, and this season has been no exception. Each month, our company grows - and each month, we’re able to introduce our mission, our story and our brand to more women.
There’s something so powerful about the energy of empowered women who join together to ignite a movement - and that’s what I believe we’re doing at R.Riveter. You see, R.Riveter is on a mission to inspire and empower women, and to show them that they can be whoever they want to be, regardless of setbacks.
