How You Can Support Military Families

April is Month of the Military Child. As a military spouse owned company, R.Riveter knows first-hand the resilience a family of a service member must possess. WE understand the challenges that come with the lifestyle and know it is not always easy to get support. We know it is not easy making frequent moves, being apart from a parent, or having to continually adjust to new norms. This purple print honors the kids who have sacrificed right alongside their parent in the military. We have partnered with the Military Child Education Coalition to donate 10% of net sales now through May to support their mission. They aim to advocate for the children of military parents so that they are equipped to move on to their next life stage whether that be grade school, college, or the working world.

Their coalition serves a community consisting of public school districts, private schools, colleges and universities, small businesses and corporations, organizations, military commands and installations, military families, and caring individuals across our Nation.

Alongside donating through purchasing on our site, you can donate directly on Military Child Education Coalition’s website or donate your time by volunteering. MCEC is always looking for volunteers with many diverse backgrounds. If you are a creative, offer your talents such as photography or writing. Students can join the Student 2 Student program and earn community service hours while helping. Offer your knowledge as a guest speaker, or help by doing administrative work like shredding documents, assembling packets, or doing data entry. There are many more opportunities to donate your time and we invite you to check them out, get involved, and continue to support your military families.
