Honoring Service, Celebrating Mission: R Riveter’s 14 Years of Impact

Today, November 11th, is a day we pause to honor the incredible dedication and sacrifice of our nation's Veterans. It’s a day marked by gratitude for those who have served and protected our freedoms. But for us at R Riveter, this date holds a dual significance: It is also our anniversary! It feels profoundly fitting that the day we recognize service members, we also celebrate the mission that was born out of supporting the military community itself. Fourteen years ago, R Riveter was founded on the belief that a military spouse's career should not have to be sidelined by constant relocations. That belief became a promise—and a nationwide reality. 14 Years of Empowerment R Riveter wasn't started as a traditional business; it was started as an answer to a problem. When military families move—and they move often—the military spouse loses their job and has to start over. This cycle leads to high unemployment and underemployment within the military spouse community. Our solution was simple yet revolutionary: Bring the work to the spouse, not the spouse to the work. For 14 years, we’ve built and refined a unique, decentralized manufacturing model. We employ military spouses, whom we proudly call "Riveters," from their homes across the country. They receive the raw materials, craft the individual components (like pockets, straps, and body panels), and ship them back to our production facility where everything comes together. This structure allows us to provide flexible, dependable, portable income to military families, regardless of where the next duty station takes them. Where Service Meets Craftsmanship Veterans Day reminds us of the commitment required to serve the nation. At R Riveter, we see that same resilience and dedication mirrored in our Riveters every day. On our 14th anniversary, we are celebrating every Riveter who has contributed to our success, every military spouse who has found stability and purpose through our mission, and every Veteran who inspired our entire journey.
