All About R.Riveter's Brand Ambassador of the Month, Amy C.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

I'm an Air Force wife, mama to two girls (one recently through adoption), and currently living in the south with deep Midwest roots!  I married my high school sweetheart 12 years ago and our adventures have taken us through ROTC, pilot training, and 5 military moves.  My family still lives in my childhood home so adapting to military life was a whole new world for me but I wouldn't trade the rich community I now have.  I went to college for nursing and until we had children I worked in various positions as a registered nurse.  In my spare time I took up photography and pursued a business documenting families, newly-weds, and now small businesses and creative entrepreneurs.  I enjoy a smooth cold-brew coffee with coconut creamer by day and a good bottle of dark cab by night, the smell of a wood burning fire, and a good old country song.  My passions include promoting a health and wellness lifestyle through clean living, traveling throughout this country and overseas, and discovering new recipes that become favorite family staples.

Why did you want to become an R.Riveter Brand Ambassador?

As a military spouse with more than one career, I know how it feels to have to move frequently and the challenges that come with finding work.  When we moved to Pinehurst, NC I learned about R.Riveter and immediately connected with their mission.  Not only was I excited about the mission but their whole brand reflected the type of business I wanted to work with.  I knew other military spouses that would love to get behind the mission that I could share with and I felt that it was important to spread awareness, even outside the military community, about how military spouses endure career trials throughout their spouse's service and how R.Riveter was finding a way to help create jobs and mobile income for these families.

What is your favorite R.Riveter bag?

That is hard as my collection grows but I love my Grant as my business catch-all bag that you will find sitting on the side of the couch where I can pull out my laptop and planner for times I need to get work done.  As a mama, this bag transitions so well to the daily demands of life with kids and is a great multi-tasker for balancing all-the-things.
