2020 Military or Veteran-Owned Gift Guides

Gift giving is fun and rewarding. To find your recipient that special item they didn’t even know they needed and watch their face as they unwrap it is a magical feeling for all. We’ll be honest, it’s not always easy to think of that perfect item right away. It can be a huge help to get some inspiration from gifting experts. The R.Riveter gals have put together a gift guide of our own that you should totally check out of you haven’t already. We also wanted to share some other guides that can help spark more ideas (and you might recognize a few products from your favorite girl gang *wink*.)

The Military Wallet

Find all you need from self-care, accessories and clothing, pet gifts, and more—all owned by military veterans or spouses. We love the selection of home decor and ornaments in this guide.

Charlie Madison

Charlie Madison put together a gift guide featuring incredible small businesses. Their guides are focused on gifts for women, with a focus on military spouses and mothers. You’ll find jewelry, coffee goods, and all things essential oils. If your recipient is a lover of calming smells, this is the gift guide for you.

Military Families Magazine

Military Families Magazine offers a gift guide for the entire family. Their focus is in supporting military owned businesses. Here you’ll find things like spirits, snacks, and cider made in America. If you’re looking to gift clothing, they suggest plenty of military owned businesses with some great styles.

Military Officers Association of America

We love this guide for its theme. Their curated collection features items that will help military members who are transitioning into a second career (but these are also great for any civilian’s work from home office.) It contains a kettle for the all-important coffees and teas, a card holder from yours truly, notebooks to stay organized, and American-made lapel pin, cufflinks, and tie clip to keep your recipient looking sharp.

Sandboxx

Sandboxx put together the ultimate gift guide featuring veteran companies. This guide is coffee heavy and features all the accessories you might need to drink that cup of liquid energy. If your recipient has a beard or likes to practice self-care, this is the guide for you. Find soaps, beard oils, and scrubs. They offer a wide selection of apparel and accessory options so you’re sure to find a site with exactly what you’re looking for.

Stripes and Whimsy

This is the guide for the women in your life. Find stationary, art, candles, handbags, and cute clothing for every woman on your list. It focuses on highlighting small businesses so you can feel great about your purchase too.

Radio.com

This gift guide has something for everyone. What is special about this guide is that it includes books, planners, and toys for the littles. You will also find many items for pets including treats and accessories.
