INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME
Ada Lovelace was a mathematics wiz at a young age. By the tender age of 17, she was working alongside incredible scientists and intellectuals. (Talk about intimidating.) As she translated mathematician Luigi Menabrea’s work, she added notes of her own which described a method for calculating an algorithm, or in other terms, she basically was first to write the code for computer programming. Not to mention she did this in 1843. This code had the possibility to carry out other functions planned in advance (hello modern day technology!).
Without her out-of-the-box thinking and dreaming, we might still be using computers solely to crunch numbers.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
R.Riveter’s vegetable tanned leather and cotton canvas are carefully selected for durability and longevity. Our materials are made to preserve natural characteristics, which will wear uniquely with age. Some color transfer on light colored clothing is possible due to the natural dying process.
Leather Care:
For day-to-day care, leather can be dusted with a dry, lint-free cloth to prevent dirt and dust build up. For long-term leather care, we recommend the use of R.Riveter’s Leather Care products, which consist of a leather salve and polishing cloth, specifically designed for the use on R.Riveter leather. Canvas Care:
Spot clean stains with a clean, damp cloth and mild soap or detergent, using a blotting motion.
Disclaimer: Due to the nature of dyed natural materials, crocking of fabric is expected and normal.

Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 5-7 business days from Lakeland, FL.
- Note: Processing time is separate from Carrier speed. Shipping speed is determined by the carrier and choice of customer at check out.

Shipping Method
- Flat Rate will ship via USPS or UPS based on your selection. For APO/FPO/DPO addresses, choose Standard Flat Rate for USPS shipping.
Returns and Exchanges
- If your bag isn’t the right fit, return it within 30 days for a full refund (shipping fee excluded).
- Items must be in like-new condition with tags attached.
- Submit return requests through our Return Portal.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs; shipping fees are non-refundable.
Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable. After 30 days, items may be returned for manufacturing repair.
