1. First, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born and raised in Connecticut, attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where I studied fashion merchandising and business. I am passionate about staying active, healthy and love getting to know everyone’s story and perspective on life. I truly believe that everyone you meet in life has a purpose and reason.

2. Why did you join R.Riveter?

I found them online and the minute I saw R. Riveter I knew that I needed to be a part of it! I sent an email in March 2014 and was officially part of the team a couple of months later. I loved everything that R. Riveter stood for.

3. How has being a military spouse affected your journey and your career?
I was very apprehensive about my career path with my husbands career. I was afraid that I would not have the opportunity to use my degree in Fashion Merchandising. R. Riveter has made my dreams come true in allowing me to use my degree to work for the most amazing company with an empowering group of women!

4. How has R.Riveter affected your life?
R. Riveter has given me hope that as a military spouse you can still do what you love and continue to grow professionally despite all of the moves with the Military. They truly empower each and every one of the R. Riveter team members to be the best that they can be.

5. What do you love most about what you do?
Customer Service has its ups and downs. But at the end of the day without our customers we would be nowhere. Without our customers support we would not be able to provide mobile and flexible income for these amazing military spouses working across the country. So to all of our amazing customers out there: THANK YOU!

6. What is one of your most proud moments at R.Riveter?
I have been with R. Riveter since before they became well known. I was there to help open the first little store in Southern Pines, launch a successful Kickstarter campaign and survive Shark Tank air night! It has been quite a ride and I have enjoyed every speed bump and curve! I love every part of learning from our mistakes and continuously growing as a business.

7. Favorite part about working at R.Riveter?
I love that I can work alongside inspiring, talented and supportive individuals who know the daily struggles of military life. We are not only coworkers but in a way sisters along this journey.

8. Favorite R.Riveter handbag?
Although I have almost every style…I would have to say that my favorite everyday bag is the Patton. It is the perfect grab and go style to put my phone, wallet and keys in.

9. Fun Fact about yourself?
My favorite book of all time is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I love the theme of Selfless Generosity for the ones we love.
