1. First, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm from Kentucky.  I met my soldier/husband in July of 2001 while I was attending college in Bowling Green, KY and he was stationed at Ft. Campbell, Ky.  We married in February of 2003.  We have been stationed at Ft. Campbell KY, Ft. Wainwright AK, Ft. Polk LA, Camp Merrill GA (where I met Cameron and started working for R.Riveter), and Ft. Benning GA. Heading to Ft. Bliss next!  I have 3 sons and a dog!

2. Why did you join R.Riveter?
It provided flexible income from home and I love the mission!

3. How has being a military spouse affected your journey and your career?
I have a degree in Accounting.  I was able to get a job straight out of college at our first duty station in Alaska in 2003.  When we left Alaska to move to Louisiana in 2007 I was pregnant with our first child. We decided I would be a stay at home mom until the kids were school age.  After being out of the accounting field for so long my resume needed something more recent.  I was contemplating returning to school to get my masters to have a more attractive resume during the summer of 2015.  I was already completing work from home for R.Riveter (leather and canvas).  Shortly after looking into schools Lisa and Cameron offered me a bookkeeping position.  I was so excited because I knew that would get my foot back in the accounting profession!

4. How has R.Riveter affected your life?
It has opened so many doors for me!  Not only has it gotten me back in the accounting field but it's mobile income!  We are about to embark on our 3rd move since I started working for R.Riveter and I don't have to worry about finding another job or losing income.

5. What do you love most about what you do?
The ladies I work with everyday are amazing!  We have formed such good friendships.  I have not met the majority of them in person as I work remotely but they are some of my best friends!

6. What is one of your most proud moments at R.Riveter?
Shark Tank!!!!  I thought KickStarter was exciting, but then came the Sharks!

7. Favorite part about working at R.Riveter?
The fact that I started out as Quality Control, then moved to leather and canvas work, and now I'm an Executive Assistant!  There is room to grow professionally and personally in this amazing company!

8. Favorite R.Riveter handbag?
The Otto (my current bag)

9. Fun Fact about yourself?
