First, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Mom of 5 beautiful children. Married to my husband, Isaac, for 13 years. Born and raised in California desert.

Why did you join R.Riveter?
I signed up after seeing Riveter on Shark Tank just to see what could happen. I was going to go work at Walmart stocking shelves after hours so I could still be home for my kids during the day. R. Riveter was my saving grace! The first email I received I was "all in" no matter what my job was going to be! After starting and working with R. Riveter it has become so much more than extra income for my family. It has been an opportunity to create a product that I put so much time and effort into which represents the military spouse.

How has being a military spouse (if applicable) affected your journey and your career?
From the very beginning, I followed my husband wherever he went. I never started a career but took advantage of the installations we have lived. For example, I set up a photography studio in my family room at Ft. Irwin since the closest city was 45 minutes away and no photography studio on base. I loved being able to give portraits to my fellow military families and make new friends in the process.

How has R.Riveter affected your life?
Riveter has been a positive effect on me and for my family. I can still be home with my kids while making some extra income. We can do more with our kids and work toward our debt. Working on Riveter products every day and seeing the end result on the Riveter website as well as in the store makes me feel a sense of accomplishment. It proves that hard work pays off and how military spouses can come together and create a work of art.

What do you love most about what you do?
I love the community and atmosphere I work in. I also enjoy sewing and am proud that everything I sew for Riveter has a purpose and looks amazing when it's complete.
What is one of your most proud moments at R.Riveter?
My proudest moments at Riveter are when I turn in at the FAB shop and am told how great my products look. I am also proud of how everyone tells me how clean my stacks look when I turn in, lol.

Favorite part about working at R.Riveter?
My favorite part about working at Riveter has to be the assistance and honesty I received when I first started there regarding my sewing. It wasn't perfect when I first started and instead of turning me away I was given good constructive criticism and tips to assist me in becoming a better Riveter. Knowing they believe in me and give me honest feedback is a big reason why I have become the Riveter I am today.
