FAQs

Once you place your order online - we will ship your prep kit to the shipping address provided within 3-5 business days.

You place your items in the prepaid mailers and pop them in the mail.

Once they arrive at our Custom Heirloom facility in Southern Pines, NC please allow 8 weeks for the completed items to be deliverd.

Please remove all name tapes, ribbons or insignia that you do not wish to be on the handbag.

We recommend that you keep all buttons on the uniform if you would like to incorporate them in the final product.  

Please make sure materials are properly cleaned before sending off your Heirloom prep kit. 

We suggest sending in your materials for dry cleaning. We will not be able to accept soiled or torn material. 

Trust us on this one - dry clean is a must!

After checking out – you have until we receive the Material Prep kit to make changes or cancel your order.

Please keep in mind that if you choose to cancel there is a non-refundable Material Prep kit charge of $15

After the production of your bag you have the choice to designate whether you would like the excess materials returned to you with the finished product or to honor it by recycling.

If you honor by recycling please keep in mind that all parts of the material will be recycled and if you would like to keep any name tapes, patches, buttons etc. please remove them before sending in your material prep kit.

 

You will have the option of having excess materials returned to you. This will be documented on the order form completed on your design survey.  

The thread color used for your Heirloom will match as closely to color of materials as possible.  

R. Riveter’s Warranty will still cover stitching, zippers, snaps, and hardware. However, due to the nature of the Limited-Edition materials, we are unable to offer warranty repairs on the upcycled materials portion of the handbag.  

Heirloom handbags highly customized and therefore are nonrefundable.
