We already know you love a good candle--who doesn’t? But there are some things you might not know about them. (Don’t worry, that’s where we come in) The best fact about this candle is that it was hand-poured by a Riveter with a spouse working in civil service--go on, check that RR number stamped on the front, we’ll wait. While we’re at it, let’s call these candle pouring Riveters what they really are--a “chandler,” or so we’ve discovered. It comes from the word chandelier, and you can probably guess how that name came to be based on whatever knowledge you have on old-time movies with no electricity. Something else you should know about candles is that the very first time you light them, you should let the entire top layer of wax melt--it’ll keep your candle from forming that tunnel of doom and uneven melting of wax. Lastly, if you want to maximize your candle’s lifespan (which we know you do) you should keep burning time under three hours at a time. How do we know this? It’s candle science 101--and we read about it on the internet. Now light this baby up and get into relaxation mode.

Safety in Fragrance Oils.  Not all fragrance oils are created equal.  Our candle line is entirely 100% phthalate-free and we source from a supplier that adheres to the strict RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials) standard regarding fragrance safety.
