Celebrating Rosies this Labor Day: September 5, 2016

September 04, 2016

On Labor Day, we invite you to travel back in time with us to celebrate the humble and courageous spirit of Rosies across the nation!

What is a Rosie? Of course, Rosie the Riveter will come to mind! In fact, Rosie the Riveter is our company's namesake. Our founders wanted our authentic products to be branded with a name that embodies courage, strength, self-confidence and empowerment. There was no one better suited to to the task than the original Rosie, herself!
Who was Rosie? Rosie the Riveter was not just one, single, woman; she was a symbol for all women who served their country in a very unique way during WWII. When the men went off to war, it left a gaping hole in the American workforce -- but the call for help did not go unanswered. The Rosies stepped in, producing ammunitions and war supplies. They may not have realized it at the time, but their willingness to become what our country so desperately needed in those dark times would be a legacy that all American women cling onto forever.
And so, today we celebrate Rosies of the past, of the present and of the future. On this Labor Day, please raise a glass and help R. Riveter Keep the Legacy Alive.
